i know mate i cant wait for next year now the day it goes for an mot and i have taxed and insured it will be the day i cry  :cry: i realy cant wait for that 1st drive  :tongue: gunna do so many shows next year

Well you know I had exactly that day earlier this year and after the sh*t mine whent through it was a very special day.... yours will come soon enough and I can't wait to see it at some shows.  :cool:

what brake set up you going for mate? i drove mine for the first time yesterday and the brakes are vague at best, hate to think what theyl be like with 20vt pushing it along lol

Theres not a chance that your brakes at the minute will stop a 20vt mk1 aha there pretty rapid

im running passat front disks
corsa b gsi calipers
Mk2 golf 16v brake servo
astra/vectra braided hose
and youl want X4 m12 x 25 with a 1.0 corse thread these are to hold your calhqers on

i obv havent got round to completaly fitting mine yet so im not gauranteein this is all right

Youl also want 100mm drive sharfts and there mk1 golf cabriolet drive shafts im also running a O2A mk3 golf 2.0l 16v gearbox youl also need a mk2 golf 16v tensioner and when you come todo that make sure you space it usin washers

Yeah I know they won't be up to job, I just don't know what to replace them with at minute

People have said about g60 brakes but again I don't know what I need
