have a quick skim through james fords thread he done that sort of thing with his strut tops dunno how much youd gain and what the best way for you to do it would be, you'd have to be careful to get the turrets top in the same position as they are currently, working in a bodyshop i would have thought youd have all the equipment to be able to get it all bang on

Surely it'd be better to set up the ride height properly once the car is complete and fully laden with all it's components?

I'm sure it will settle down once everything's in.
If not, look into camber adjustable and lowering top mounts.

not a good week so far for the mk1 received my grill ( mk1 golf grill that is ) and camber bolts instead of shims DAM IT

I recieved my camber shims today but bad news im with Aout a computer for a few weeks so no progress pics will getget uploaded asfor i cant do it from my phone either :-( HUFF il keep you posted tho

my dash is now in the prosses of bein wrapped and my glove box is quilted and looks AMAZING
carpets bein done this month aswell and hopefully il be doin my brake conversion new bearings / wheel cylinder / brake shoes / disks / pads / braided hosing / brake lines / calipers
