yeah im confident  :smiley: thanks to alot of reading lol

i cant twist my cam belt more than quarter of a turn its all tight feels good i turned my engine over twice aswell i made sure i got all the right torque settings ect ect like you say il soon know haha

 more conversions ;-)

now gettin a seat leon cupra R ready for ultimate dubs so no progress will be made on the mk1 for a few weeks :-(

yes mate i used the mk2 golf 16v tensioner  :smiley:

bit scary as this is my first ever go at mechanics but seems to be goin extremely well  :grin:

I take my hat off to you, this is a awesome project. I don't think I would have the balls to take something like this on, mechanically speaking. Really cool car mate. :cool:

tryed my bonnet on with the engine in only a dry fit no fixings haha clears the engine a treat tho  :D and i wanted to see hows things are comin to together got more of and idea what the front shall look like with my smoothed front

what do you guys think
