Has anyone ever heard of putting a power cap on power on coil?
??
Reason im asking mate brought this up over a chrismas beer
he reckons keeps power to coil consistant under load
can understand theory but is it beer bull sh!t?
??

er power on coil.
if he mans ignition coil that would be a really bad idea. it would effectivly increse the dwell but would actualy increse current spikes in the ignition system possobly pop the ignition AMP and over heat the coil as well as causeing misfireing
