Ok, just totted up the total raised from the day! By my calculations (and these may be wrong as it is late and has been a very long day!) we raised in total £503.87 including Chuff's donation whenever that is made

So another big thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a good day, and helped to raise a decent amount of money for a very worthwhile cause :afro:

13hr and a bit day, 362 miles, great day and the old barge hasnt lost any ponies ( unlike mk5's  ) even at 177k  :smug:

was worth it just to see a VERY nervous scouser with a car balanced on 2 old mini wheels  :undecided:

Will sort the piccies out when I have chill out a bit
You on about the ponies I left at home??! It was only 1.3 of the buggers and .3 better than another mk5 :lipsrsealed:

Thanks to Doc and gang

Thank you, we were rolling road day virgins you know :embarassed:

In stark contrast were back to Fuel / Emmissions testing next week, starting with TX4 taxi's on Monday and progressing to Ford Transits by Thursday

The shortest time we normally have cars on the rollers is around half a day and the longest around a week when we're doing EU drive cycle runs so one every 20 mins is a massive difference to us

I'll let the young 'uns do the strapping next time but this time round I needed to know the best way to strap each type onto the dyno as I've only had mk4, 5's and 6's to date.

Got to say we all enjoyed ourselves and I'm happy that we made over 500 squid for help for heroes

Lets get your wagon mapped and have a rematch soon me thinks as we had some not running too well and some VERY low ones that I clearly need to KICK the crap out of more on the dyno

and I'll go first next time

Craig and team did us all proud.

My suggestion for next year is to install a weigh-bridge at Carbon so that we can all pretend to fall out about torque to weight ratios.

Mature or what?
