You going to AMD as per your thread below?

http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=175467.0

Make sure you don't pay the full price!!

REVO have been in the tuning game a while and their maps are tried and tested :afro:

Only problems you'll experience will be shown when the car is mapped.  Things like weak spark plugs / weak coilpacks / small boost leaks may become more apparent as the engine will be working harder

It will be very easy to blame the map but 99% of the time any faults that occur after remapping are down to the car itself and not the map

The revolution site says £200 at the mo, they said it's usually £299 so in the sale it's £199.
So your telling me it should be £99. Only problem is the site says £299 so with £100 off £199 is right. If you think they having me over I will leave it. What ya think?

Well Awesome GTI who are a REVO dealer are doing the AGU remaps for £99+VAT.  And R-Tech are offering the same map for that price too so I can't see why AMD would charge differently?

What year is your Golf as maybe if its a later one their is a price difference  :undecided:

EDIT!
Well going by your thread on ukmkivs
http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/395051.aspx

You have a 2001 which means the normal price is £299 with £100 off is £199 so AMD have quoted you correctly.

Confusion over........

So why is a remap for a MK5 so much more cash?
