Waxing/colour problem

Hey, i dunno if im posting this in the right section, its my first post  I've got a 06 candy white gti, I used turtle wax original on it after i washed it and it seems to have dulled the colour, I know it has cos the outside colour isn't the same as the colour inside the doors etc. It's a dull kinda cream white now, i dunno if it's cos i aint buffed the turtle wax off properly or if its even possible for wax to dull the colour but i need help to get it back to the bright white it was, can i use anything to remove the wax, can anyone help?

Where are you, my GTI is white at the moment but its normally black with this fcuking snow.

The dullness is usually a sign the wax has not been buffed completely. Particularly at low temperatures it never seems to go to the high shine you would see when waxing during the summer. The low temperatures can cause moisture to collect on the surface dulling the shine.

To recover the shine I usually have to spend more time hand buffing after the wax has has a while to dry.

hey, thanks for replying, im in west london and i had a feeling it might be cos of this f**king cold weather, i know what u saying bout the snow but even when i cleaned the snow and dirt off it was still a duller white than what it was before i put the wax on, i've been advised since not to use turtle wax and to wash my car a few times and it should remove it. i was going to try and buff it up again when the weather dries up but i still think its to cold and i think your right, i don't think i buffed it up properly when i put it on and the cold weather has another part to play in it, i just want this sh!t off and it to be bright white again
