The last time I saw these pictures I turned green with envy and then turned even greener as I threw up in shock!

Still can't get my head around this and still as envious as hell! But as it is Ess_Three, I don't mind.

I believe FroGTI had a lovely tidy garage in France too, that put me to shame.

It's one thing to have a tidy garage, another to have OCD. Together it is a match made in Hellven.

Ordered on 20/12 at 11.15am.
Tyres left Worms (near Mannheim), Germany on 22/12
In Best (near Eindhoven), The Netherlands on 23/12. Stuck there.
Then probably to the port of Rotterdam in Holland on their way to Blighty.

Well past the 5 days before they arrive.

Gives me time to organise storage.

Thought so. I think i need to build myself one

I did the drawings and my mate built it. Steel prices have gone up lately, but you should still be able to have something like that made for £200 ish.

I'm having a lower sectionm done to hold bare wheels, leaving the upper sections for wheels/tyres.
I doubt I'll get all my wheels on it...but I'll be close.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

As you say its the price of steel. Making/welding it is not a problem as i design welding machines for a living

Whilst both Snoops and Ess_Three are on this thread, may I ask you both if a 225/40 R 18 tyre which is slightly stretched on an 8" rim compared to a 7.5" rim, become noisier or will this not be an issue?

Or, will the opposite occur?

Oh and the other question is, will the ride be affected?

Bump-up to get Snoops and Ess_Three to answer in case they've missed my questions.

My pirelli zero M&S are not "stretched" but are they are WAY quieter than the bridgestones on my Golf.
