For me the convenience of Kwik Fit was ideal, I suppose I could have found room in the garage/shed or at work but that means carrying four tyres four times a year (two trips there and back with a car full of tyres, loading/unloading etc).

Couldn't be bothered.

And I said previously they were the cheapest and so careful with my wheels.

Made room at home just now. What a drama. Just for wheels. So I'll store the Monza Shadows. I've already sold the Bridgestones.
What a relief.
Or why or why did I join a forum. Running out of room, money (well not for a few years ) and sense.
Where've you stored them? my Bridegstones are resting in peace pieces in the garden shed!!

Amanda, you have to store them properly otherwise thay will be buggered.

Thanks for that mine are piled up so that's wrong for starters, will go and sort them out tomorrow.

What would you do without me. I'm visiting you in the summer. That's a promise.

My Michelin PA3s are now £318 on the mytyres site! Mad, mad, mad!

And more mad.

I paid £143 last month and have now seen the same for £220 each (if they have them at all that is).

I like.

It was either that or a crashed car. You've also got winters so don't you make me feel bad as it's not fair.

Yes, there is a North-South divide: Snow and temperature wise. I think on balance we are all in the same boat. Well shafted and without a paddle in a puddle!

Are yours 830Ps? They are no longer available on any of the web sites in 225/45 R17. Only the 810Ss are available in your size and they are £254.40 on mytyres and £233.72 on pneus.

Ami: You've got the deal of the decade.

For storage I've got a couple of these, one for the GTI and one for the wifes summers and alloys:

On the other thread I was going to point squirellGTi at this site as they have stock of winters at decent prices, when you factor in the exchange rate

Got up in a blind panic about storage of these wheels and tyres. Was inundated with every conceivable alloy and tyre. Drowning in them.

What have I done.

This forum is ruining me!

Urgh.
