MK1 Golf RS Turbo!?

I hate ads with no info or pics of the conversion.... none of the interior either.... whats the point?....

anyway is this guy saying its got a ford RS Turbo Motor in it or just the turbo gear and management?... I'm assuming the latter

Discussed this on AB25 earlier in the week!
Having that setup would be a monster but then the advert lets it down AGAIN!
Shame really if it is what is stated!

If its a full escort/fiesta RS turbo engine what a shame as that CVH engine i found ruff as a...

Even if its not it still begs the question why?

Compared to Fords ohv engine I always though the CVH was pretty strong, during the days of my first MK1 GTI my mate being a ford man had an 89 XR3i and the motor in that seemed pretty strong. We had many B road battles back then.  :grin:

Anyway i've sent this guy a question as i'm far too curious.... I'm guessing its all the turbo gear only as that would make more sense.

So, I posted a question to him, from his response I'm guessing he bought the car like this and don't feel he is a true enthusiast.

My Question: Hi, is this car on full RS Turbo Running gear or is it just the turbo setup?


Answer: yeah its its got turbo and chipped rs ecu management spits flames sounds good, great car are u interested in making me a bid? let me kno thanks as there is a bit of interest in this car at the moment thanks...


Hmmm, i'm sure there is but it didn't meet the reserve first time with only 2k worth of bids... it looks very tidy but needs quite a bit changing on the outside IMO.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
