Thanks guys, the MK6 guys are ok really, they just need to get into the groove and spend a little more time in other parts of this forum - I still cant believe they've not seen this thread!

Lets see what happens over there in 2011

Yes, I've had a MK2 in White, 6 MK5's and the MK6 GTD that I have now.

They argue about DSG vs manual ALL THE TIME and have a terrible attitude towards non GTI cars and tend to drag every conversation wildly off topic, which is the nature of a forum but it always ends up about the same things DSG vs Manual, GTI vs anything you bought and the colour of your car.....

As I type I'm trying to stop abuse on a new mk6 member before it starts as he has a 1.6 match bluemotion which will no doubt be treated with contempt by the usual crew.

I understand this is a GTI forum but it used to be and still can / could be a nice place to be for all golf drivers.

A MK6 forum mod would be most welcome, but please not one of the "mk6 abuse click".

Short memory Doc! Remember you taking the piss about white cars recently. I even remember you changing your sig to take the piss out of the "WHITE GOODS COLOUR"

If it's not a daft question do you really think I have an opinion about the colour of peoples cars or do you think I was bating a particular member following some less than flattering comments? You were only too happy to join in the colour / diesel basing so why the sour grapes weeks later?

9 / 10 urinals and washing machines are White FACT

When you jibed about diesel and tractors etc was I bothered, not one bit

Im happy to see that you clearly follow some of my writings, did you read the bit about adults and there choices of colours, engines and gearboxes etc? :-)

Circles? It's like a bleeding roundabout

No mate, not jealous one little bit.

Got to admit Doc seem's to know his stuff and has had plenty of VW's BUT when he get's on his high horse preaching about "He had to save a new member" and "How its allways petrol V diesel, colour etc etc etc etc" makes me  ESPECIALLY when he STARTS some of the b!tching. Trying to make out he's perfect for MK6 Mod but he's NOT.

The MK6 section defo needs a Mod but DOC for Mod, Not in my opinion.

My vote's for Snoopy, doesnt b!tch, reply's to 99% of the thread's and also knows his VW's.

They are an arsey bunch at the best of times but it can get pretty mental in there sometimes, why dont they have a mod or is it just that non of them can be trusted?

I can only assume that the constant b!tching is putting off any new members who may be watching the site.

This will all be down to me - I'll keep my head down in the mk6 section for a while and see if it all becomes harmonious......

From what I read in there, there is very little in the way of general conversation. At some point or another one of the mk6 chaps will have a dig at someone else.

At least Doc comes out and talks to the general forum population. Think the only other two that do are VW KEV and Steve.
