yeah I knew you were meaning MPG...it's just I never used a whole tank to work out what it would have got.

It was an awesome project in the sense that it was the first in the world and had major fabrication and electrical issues but I won't be pushing boundries again.  It's a lonely place when you've run out of ideas to solve a problem and nobody can help because you're the first to try it.

Ah right...... Lonely maybe but you must enjoy the challenges or you wouldn't do it..... I wish I had the money to challenge myself more....  Mind you I struggle to find the time to get on with what i've got let alone solve problems...

What MK1's do you still have?

a motorbike, ford s-max and 3 kids.  I'll be staying dubless until inspiration strikes.  TBH I'm happy having time out now after 15 years.

I've only recently gone back to VAG  but i'm in the audi tree atm.

Might bung a how2 up on how to chop the PD loom about to work in a mk2 as no one wants to buy them, it is quite an involved loom to convert tho so may take a long while to motivate to do the how2
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
