Not since the MOT on Saturday.
I will be using it tomorrow, if Hazel lets me

I have a feeling she will go to work in the VR6 and leave me the TDI tomorrow

To make sure you get use of it tomorrow, just let a tyre or two down later on and then in the morning say you'll sort it  :lipsrsealed:

Well I got the use of the car........Hazel wanted me to drive it in case their are still any faults or problems to iron out.

52 mile round trip and checked the coolant level this morning, no loss of coolant at all

Highest priority is to fix is the drivers door electric window. Its a bugger to get it to come down, keep having to press up/down until it finally goes. Looks like it is a common problem having searched on here. I've checked the bellows in the door hinge and that is OK.

About time I posted an update for the VR6........

Hazel has been using it every day for work and I've used it a couple of times for the longer run to work. All is running well and it's a pleasure to drive. The electric windows seem to have sorted themselves out on their own........I love it when problems do that!

I have now fitted an auxiliary electric coolant pump. I had to nip over to GSF a couple of weeks ago so I bit the bullet and purchased a new one.

It's Hazels Birthday so I have just treated 'her' car to these:-

I pick it all up tomorrow.......hopefully it will all fit in the back of the MK IV :undecided:

Glad to hear it's been behaving itself. :afro:

Wow, nice prezzie.... she will be chuffed to bits. And yeah, you should be able to squeeze that in with seats down.

Just asked the question if it's the right pictures for the door cards as they look different to the ones on the VR6. They look more like 4 door cards........rear ones have handles whereas mine have arm rests?
