Hi guys,
my names carl, im 25 and just found this site a few days ago after deciding my next car will be a mk2.

Ive always been a jap boy. subarus, toyotas etc etc etc

The reason i want a golf is...Iwant a project to keep me amused.

I would love to do a vr6 2.8 conversion  but have never done anything quite like it before

Would love any advice you can offer.

Is it something I should even be considering for my 1st golf?

im happy to take my time and learn so there is no rush with getting it done.

cheers.
carl

Welcome. Well done on the choice of Golf. VR6 sounds nice but f**ks up the exquisite handling on the MK2. You can make it less crap with the MK3 wide track set up.

Choice is yours but most would say keep it standard if its a 16v but ABF is the future.
