Welcome! Both cars look nice. Bet the golf feels boring compared to the other beast.

Haha yes it does feel rather slow..  But I modified the RX7 from standard.. so who knows what I'll end up doing with the Golf   Although I don't suppose I can do a lot to the engine I have..

Nice pice of kit you got there.

I'd try find some sant monica's tbh.

Thank you :)   Never heard of Santa Monica's..  Googled them.. they look very dated tbh.

they suit a mk4 pefect tbh if I had a mk4 thats what I'd run.

Hi and welcome.

Thanks!  Starting to wish I bought a 1.8T instead... Might sell it and buy one lol   What's the MPG like on the 1.8 T?  My 2.0L GTI is getting only 30 - 35mpg according to the computer in the car is that right?

A remapped 1.8T is still good for 32-38mpg on a good run. In standard form they dont even feel like they have a turbo so need to be tuned.

Welcome to the site. M8 used to own a Rx7 and was tuned to 430bhp by dragon performance. Probs saw it at shows, had custom gold/cream flip with wide arch kit and monster install

welcome along enjoy your stay  18's will go on fine

Thanks  How much could I lower the suspension with 18s? 40mm?  I don't want it stupidly low, as it's a daily drive and has to be practical!  I just can't seem to keep any of my cars stock!

i would say 40mm easy iv got mine with the arch's sittin just above the wheels but if you wanna go low you need to change the front arb as it rubs on the drive shaft.

fear is temporary, regret lasts forever...

32 - 38 is better than my GTI 2L gets!  I'm lucky to get 33 stupid thing!!  Might as well drive the FD through winter lol.
