Cant get into 4th gear

Just got into my car to drive home from a mates and on the way back i couldn’t shift to 4th, all other gears are fine. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Is it an easy fix?

On top of the gearbox is a arm, that the two cables attaches too, there is a little slider on it that if not greased up cant make it difficult to get into gear.

i had this and had probs getting into all forward gears. just spray some spray grease on it. sorted mine out.

grease not WD40 as its not grease.. just saying..
