Never herd of a clock cluster melting before
Is there another alarm fitted to the car? have you looked at the fuse box to make shore every thing is happy there.
My worry for you Jon and dont want to scare you here is, if you get some new clocks and put them in and the same thing happens agane because theres a falt further down the line
