Absolute nightmare! Lost my keys!!!!

  Gutted :sick: Lost my car keys and me spare snapped when i went to open the door so....... i'm stuck. :laugh:

Anybody else ever had this problem and any advice on the best way to deal with it would be well appreciated.

Okay then its a mark 4 mate. i can still get into the car just not got the ignition key and theres no other spares.

Key is coded as it has an imoobilizer built in to it. Need a car lock smith really might be able to program a key. Failing that it will be a VW job at a guess

I would first get out yellow pages and look for an auto lock smith as will be cheaper and also they will come to you. Use a guy here but too far away from you. He has managed to get keys made for cars with no key at all. So I would assume same sort of service could be found nearer to you. failig that then yes you will most likely need to get the car recovered to vag for them to code the key to the car. another option is get a key cut and tape the old key housing from the snapped key under the ignition lock as thats where the reader is for the imobilizer

thats worked mate gonna cost me roughly £120 for it. Gonna shop around a bit hopefuly get it cheaper haha. Thanks bud :smiley:
