   iv got more go in a 57 reg berlingo which is 1.9 d than my 1.8 t 1999 reg, it is standerd but that cant be right?? iv ordered a 007p forge, just feels like there is no turbo at all? i hear psssttt from the dump valve but thats coming off as its not a rec d/v split hose you think? .........

To be fair mate, if it's standard you wouldn't wanna race anything off the lights, especially a TDI!

well i thought 1.8t was 150bhp standerd when tdi was 130??

you need to buy a vag U280 code reader off ebay for £22ish.. or take it to a garage and get them to read the codes as i a berlingo beats you off the line standard or not thats something wrong..

berlingo may be 130 but probaby twice the torque you have standard..

It's all about the torque and midrange. 150 bhp is pony and is a peak figure that it touches. 235 is ok but still not as quick as a teg which is far less. Golfs are fat!

interesting,   il buy one off ebay, and have a look, iv ordered the correct d/v and cai kit, then looking to get remapped after xmas as it drives like dragging a dead body behind it! thanks.
