I thought I'd take a few pics of the motor, its still in its very early stages, need to refurb on the rims and the car needs a good polish good i will take some inside pics soon

Dont ot mess up the ride a bit tho? Suppose it dont matter it will look sick! Are you going to do it yourself?

lowered my 1.8t 40mm and does the handling good not bad  and it looks alot better

I lowered my old golf 30mm, wasnt low enough for my liking so going a bit lower this time. Obviously the ride will be a lot firmer but you get used to it. Fitted my old springs and shocks myself, my dad almost broke his thumb but we did it  .

Think i'll pay someone then i aint tht clever with cars! I'll post some pics when i get it done, saw some cheap springs on ebay 65 quid

remember you get what you pay for... go cheap and you may regret it. I went with a set of weitec springs and shocks, paid about £300 but well worth it imo
