I have just gotta see what insurance have to say about an inter cooler and Miltek sport cat exhaust. Then i'll be up there for a nice new remap 

Outta interest when someone quotes the bhp or there car is it the ponies at the fly or at the wheel quoted?

Thanks for the feedback hearing really good things about R-Tech think you have convinced me to get mine done. I have a standard 1.8T 20V Just bit worried about my standard clutch and Split in Diverter valve which I need to replace with a Forge!

Was yours standard?

Mine has standard clutch and I've noticed no issues 5K miles down the line from my remap. Chances are if it's already a bit weak then the remap will cause it to fail earlier than standard but what the hell, if you want the performance you have to make some sacrifices right?

Standard my car pulled 160bhp at the fly and 134 at the wheels.. which i thought was very strong Nick thought the same..

Nick then put on Gen 5 stage 1 map ( which ive been told i am the first person to have ) it made 221 at the fly and 198 at the wheels.. also i had left foot braking and launch control fitted   went for test drive but its so cold up north the roads were icey and couldnt put any power down..

wow you done well!!!

stnd i was 149 at the fly and 128 at the wheels, once done it made 191 at the fly and 171  at the wheels....
gotta change that dodgey n75 valve still thou!!

was such a fun drive home!!!!

Mine is on na clutch 15k later @ 265BHP  all fine here

265bhp is over rated Maxxeh 

Yer it done really well the car only has 62k on the clock tho and that helps as you clock the miles everything becomes slowly more worn hence less power.. only thing im expecting to go at some point is the coil packs as they the same ones from new..

I only went to them on feed back and am pleased i did it pays off... and like i said to Nick i have AMD 5 mins down the road from me along with many other tuners.. yet i paid less for more if you get me ??

Thanks for he input guys on the Clutch front! Mine is on 107,000 but has been well looked after! Anyone no if admiral insurance are good on remaps?

250 for the remap... launch control etc are extras..
