« on: 02 December 2010, 22:01 »
alright chaps i was wondering, can i retrofit newer dials so i can have the miles to empty, illuminated needles etc to my AGU?

and is it a case of plug and play and get someone friendly with vagtacho to program it?

cheers, been putting it off for ages, but the speedo lights and heater controls flicker randomly on and off sometimes staying off sometimes not, not the revs or any other just the speedo. checked all mots and mileage works out. hpi clear.

i'm loath to take it out as i dont want any more squeaks and rattles than i've got

If you have the outside temp sensor & multi function wiper stalk then its a case of fitting the new clocks & getting them coded, Changing the soft code of the new clocks to the same as your new ones & they should work fine

Just that if you dont have them the red display in your clcoks wont work & you have to retro fit them
