cruise control help

ever sinve ive had the car i dont seem to be able to operate the cruise control, ive followed all steps i can find but nothing, any help much apreciated

Usual thing seems to be brake light switch...

However when my clutch pedal snapped mine was tempremental then stopped working... whats the switch by the clutch pedal for?

I think mine may be down to that as the brake lights all work fine etc lol

Have you fitted it yourself or was it on the car when you got it.........
There should be a sticker under the bonnet and in the handbook..... :grin:
Or you could go to the dealers and ask what optoins are/where fitted at the factory

it was there when i bought it, i'll go to stealers and see wat they say? has it a fuse/relay?

I cant see a fuse/relay in the haynes book for it........
I think there is a guide to fitting cruise con on VW TEESIDE website..(ebay trader) i know you have it fitted, but it might help to trace the fault if you know how its put in/on the car.. :smiley:
