Happening as we speak!!! MK4 1.9 90hp engine problems
« on: 02 December 2010, 16:35 »
As of right now my car is suffering from some kind of engine power loss (I can rev it but no power gets to the wheels) and consumption reads -0.5, which seems wierd enough to me.

Going uphill is tricky, the gearbox works fine but the engine barely makes it... Any thoughts on what might be going on? Should I stop messing around and call a tow truck?

sorry to ask the obvious question first, but are you sure you aren't just wheelspinning?

actually i've just noticed your IP address says you're in Spain, so i doubt you have the same snow that we do  In which case as above sounds like it could be the clutch.
