Erm.... i cant get mine open. The lever doesnt seem to move!

tbh i cant even remember which way its supposed to move. all i know is it isnt moving anywhere :undecided:

There's a lever on the RHS of the drivers footwell that pulls toward the rear of the car. My guess is you still have the summer lever fitted, when you should have changed to the winter lever a few weeks ago!  :evil:

What I meant was, pull the lever in the footwell to pop the bonnet up, then push the lever under the bonnet to open it. Simples. :rolleyes:
Some GTis are too shy to open their mouths for French-kissing! :laugh:

people.. i have had about 6 golfs, i know where the lever is!!!

It wont move.. thats my problem. Not forward, not back, not left, not right... i cant even pull the fecker off :angry:

I dont think so.. i first tried on sunday around midday. Wasnt too cold then.. well about -2. Tried moving it a few times since... it wont budge. I was just going to leave it, but it looks like the washer fluid wont last until August as I had hoped :undecided:
