Anyone ever wrapped new manifold in Heat resistant tape !!!!
What are the benefits ?

Are you taling about that heat wrap stuff?

If so I've had mixed results with it on the mini. It helps reduce engine bay temp (Good on the mini as the air intake is right above the exhaust manifold) but increases exhaust temperature quite alot. Rolling road results of before and after were negligable.

it also passes the heat further down the exhaust so you tend to melt your exhaust hangers unless you get the chained items from C&R
