went for the 1.8t bora instead

have you tried elephant car insurance, i got a quote of 1500quid when i was looking at a vr last month and im only 20 too!

Not at all, that's a price an idiot would pay to own a VR6! 

Shop around, get quotes and take them quotes with you to barter down 

Mine went from being a 20 year old with 3 years NCB who couldn't get insured, to being a 20 year old with 3 years NCB and paying £680 fully comp..

Slightly, insurance is still high, but we have the pros of a nice area and no pikey scum..

Oh and i can leave my car unlocked with ipod sitting there and it still not get nicked..that's the difference
