shame my mrs wouldn't drive a mk2 and it dont have isofix i'd of swapped you over winter. 

i've a friend who's got a mk2, so if you're struggling for spares etc i can see if he has them in his garage. dunno what he has etc but when i speak to him i'll see if he wants rid of them. if he does i'll pm you his number. he's a bit handy with a spanner too...

do you put anything over the windscreen at night? i got a big fancy bin liner basicly, that i tuck into the front doors tight over the main bit of the screen. saves ages when it needs defrosting 

He needs somthing for the inside 

I find if you put a frost shield over the windscreen at night you don't get the condensation problems on the inside 

Yeah very true bud - i just read on another thread that he was scrapping ice on the inside - I have to do it im my mini too
