Proberbly the same problem as mine, when the boot opens and closes the wires bend and eventually snap, open the boot and at each side there will be a rubber run sort of thing, not sure what its called but youle know what it is. Basically a rubber tube.

Gently pull/ squeze and remove that so that it doesent go into the roof of the car and push it down so its compressed and gently pull on the wires, one or two will most likely be snaped. Can't remember which rubber tube they run in though, got a feeling its the drivers side though not 100% sure.

What I'm going to do is twist the wires togeather and clamp them with a small piece of metal and some small screws so there touching.

Also get In the car, turn lights on and press the button for the heated windscreen. It will most likely be red when its not pushed in and yellow when it is. It should be a dark yelow when its not pushed in and a bright yelow when it is, this shows a fault with the heated windscreen which is most likely the snapped wires. (Iirc)

The wires for the rear window heater run through the pass side rubber tube......done mine already!!

I just used an electrical block connector - the one with screw each end. It will do till spring then I think the only permanent solution is to remove the headlining pillar and poss drop the corner of the head cloth to connect a new piece of wiring.
