The Conti 2s were ok. The Goodyear F1 Assy were excellent in the wet and dry. They did feel like they were on tip toes when its cold. Grip in snow forget it   (I know they are summer tyres). Had two sets. One of first set picked up a puncture (on the side wall), one of the second pair the side wall deformed and got an egg on it.
Got a set of Vredesteins Ultrac Sessantas fitted a couple of months ago. They ride well, are quieter compared to the old tyres, good grip, no esp lighting up.
Very impressed for the money, the only negative point is that the turn in might not be as sharp. But only by a small margin

Yep, Ive made several journeys now (not through choice mind) and they have actually been ok if you dont drive like a tw@t. Having said that, I get stuck EVERY time I try and get in the drive, it is sheet ice though so I think any tyre would do the same.

Considering these are summer tyres they have done be alright in the snow. Yes winter tyres make a difference (and without trying to sound like an arrogant c0ck) there is a lot to be said about how you drive in the snow.
