Oh dear I've made a mess - worn hex bolt (pic)

Hi,
I got the below drain bult undone the other day no problems to replace the gbox oil. Just bought some Redline MTL to replace the Gbox oil again, but can't get the bolt undone!
I was using a 17mm wheel nut and a spanner which worked dandy the first time but have made a right mess of it today!
Any ideas?
Thanks

Go and buy a proper tool, GSF sell a cheap Draper kit with various shapes and sizes in it for about £5.
You might get away with the proper tool still, failing that, its mole-grips and swearing or hammer and chisel.

How, the next size is 19mm ... and its not hammer ON, its hammer IN - he'd just end up cocking up the threads on the gearbox, or cracking it at worst.

If you can get a hacksaw to the bolt hack a grove into it the get some tough steel or really wide screw driver to make it act like a screw or failling that you can get a reverse tapping kit simply drill a hole I suggest a slow speed with plenty of lubricant wax works quite well then insert the tool into a drill and the rest is simple. I think at worst take it to a garage they'l have a tool for it I bet they see this loads. anyhow good luck pal.
Heres a link of what im on about these particular ones have the drill attached, worth the buy there always handy.

Thanks, sound suggestions.
What about an imperial size set - is there a size slightly bigger than 17mm in imperial that I could tap in?
Not sure where I'll find a large torx set?
Also, when I get it out does anyone know where I'll find a new replacement one?
GSF do tools as well! Magic.
