Oil on boost pipe
« on: 27 November 2010, 16:09 »
Hi every one.  I was under the bonnet of my golf 18T AGU.  today and I noticed that my blue forge elbow boost pipe that comes off of the top of the turbo to the intercooler pipe was a different colour to all the other blue pipes I've got, it looks realy dirty. so I wiped it with a clean dry tissue and wen I looked at the tissue it was covered in oil. It is comng through the pipe its self.Does anyone no wot can cause this and could it cause damage to the turbo or the engine thanx ian.

yes yes.. as the pcv system seems to recirc it via the turbo.. this also means cleaner inside of turbo
