« on: 27 November 2010, 14:55 »
my mk3 has finally had it in my book!
awoke this morning, i needed her to go to southampton then to salisbury then back to wilts. started her up and heard a little "boomptin" upon firing, went to devizes came back and thought i's check the oil... to find it all emulsified and loosing water... head gasket, damnit!
so i was thinking of repair £200 ... so instead, im sellin the good bits, look on for sale boards... needless to say, didnt get anywhere today ...grrrr

I would 100% confirm the head gasket has gone as a 1st step.

Emulsified oil and losing water? What else would it be?  :undecided:
