Sunroof runners
« on: 22 November 2010, 16:33 »
Hi, does anyone know if these...

are the same on any other cars apart from the mk2?

The white nylon part attached to the silver screwed on part is very worn/non existant from running on the rails and the sunroof jams regardless of how I seem to adjust it, VW don't have them and I'm thinking if they're the same on a later car maybe I can find some less fubar ones..

Its part no. 171 877 481

I think they are all the same, and I'm surprised VW don't have them! try giving GPC a ring, I've had sunroof spares off them before..

I have one of these spare if you're after it, which ironically came from a car in rushden. Can post it to you for a nominal fee.

Totaly threw a breeze block through my mates sunroof on his shell at the weekend destroying the runners.  :lipsrsealed:
