16v drop

Turbo

Supercharger

Spending well over 10,000 quid on it

If more is under 30hp, then camshaft, chip, headwork, airbox work, exhaust work.

It would cost a fortune to put a turbo on an 8v....you would just be better off buying either a 16v or a VR6 for the same if not less cash.

Sell and buy a VR or 16V with values at the moment it makes more sense.

Since when did faffing about with old cars have anything to do with sense?! It's all about pouring money you can't afford and time you haven't got into an outdated steel box on wheels for no other good reason than that you love it. Sense? No. Fun? Oooh yeah!

There is a VR auto near me for £350, 8 months ticket taxed until April! (rusty as)
I reckon I see over a dozen Mk3's a day going to the scrappy next door, only cars worth less are Rovers.
You should see an RL 16v for less than £500 if you know where to look

What is the point in building what you can buy.

Every week the same question pops up I have an 8v and want to make it quicker.
