Yes.
However there are different upper spring plates for pre and post 95 cars.

Do you know what the differences between the two are? I Know someone who's got a full stock set set-up of VR6. Would buying 2nd VR6 suspension be worthwhile for my 8v or would I be better off just waiting til I can afford some aftermarket jobbies?

I wouldn't really bother with a standard vr6 suspension, it is too soft.
I think the springs are only slightly uprated over the 8v anyway.
