Built-in Sat Nav Issues...?

The sat nav system, despite the software being dated 2009-2010, is not accurate.
For example, my in-laws post code is NN8 4.. (house and road built and completed in 2005), but my sat nav system lists this as NN8 5. This isn't the first and only incorrect location I have experienced.
VW's excuse was that 'possibly one or two locations are incorrect' but there is nothing we can do.

How crap is that, my previous sat nav system (in a Nissank, yes a Nissank) was more accurate than this GPS-led system. How poor is this?

What actual version of the disc is it?

Try V7 and you should find it's all resolved

Not sure, Steve, I'll have to dig it out.
But the dealer showed the casing to me, which read 2009-2010, so I would have thought that it would be the latest version..?

The discs marked 2009-2010 will be V6 or V6.1. These are based on mid 2008 mapping data.

The latest version, V7 are based on Q4 2009 data (this was released a few weeks ago).
