What I know is they were phased out in 2001. Option after then.

All pre 2001 1.8T's had Recaros as standard and they were optional on 1.8 NA, the 2.sl0w and GT TDI's

after 2001 they became optional on all GT and GTI badged models.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I've got leather recacos in mine and the driver side bolster is worn apart from that they are well comfy. The thing I want to no is are the foam bolsters still avalerble from Vw or recaro them selfs. Thanks ian

think you can buy the foams from VW, think rich911 replaced his drivers side bolster

yeah still available from vw but not cheap about £50 for the seat foam if i remember right

Thanx for that link mate. But r the bases on the leather recaros the same as the non leather recaro seats

Im not sure TBH i would have thought so - take the part number from the link and check with the dealers  :smiley:
