I was under the impression these would be expensive new? I cant search online as I dont have a reg (its for a conversion), but the only thing I can get from the gsf website is a front bracket. might give ecp a ring in the morning
any idea how much they are new?

OK next question, how many do I need for a full set, is it 2 rear 1 front and 1 gearbox? So like I ask for rear left, rear right, front, and gearbox? sorry if it sounds retarded but I dont know!

Apparently they are slightly different, I got this from rubjonny and been told the same by a couple others

the actual mounts on the car are the same physical shape on all models, vr6 are strongest so fit those. the front and rear brackets on the block again they need to be from mk3 or seat 16v or tdi. cant use vr6 engine one as block totally different shape. gearbox ones can come from abf, tdi or vr6.

you cant use 8v brackets as they're for cars without cable clutch, this is why you need abf/tsdi ones as they position the block a little differenty  hope all that makes sence!
