A fool full of regret!!! Wheres my car?
« on: 16 November 2010, 11:38 »
About a year ago I got rid of my mk3 for a bmw e36. the mk3 had been in an acident and I couldnt be bothered with the repair. I so regret that now. at the time I was never massivly keen on the car because I never had the money at the time to get it looking how I wanted it. Now im driving a new shape ford mondeo titanium x. But still think about the old golf alot my un finished project. Pluss there is somthing about mk3's that all ways drews me back to them when I move on to other cars. even tho my Golf went to a salvage yard with very little damage I cant imagen it being striped down or crushed because it had full service history and only 60,000 miles so im guessing they would have more than likely sold the car on. So im looking for it and plan to buy this unfinished project back! I found this link http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/application?pageid=Vehicle+Enquiry&portletid=VehicleEnquiry&portletns=VehicleEnquiry_en&wfevent=link.next dose this mean its still on the road?

Alright mate, I know exactly what you mean. I sold my old mk3 cos the clutch went and I couldnt be bothered to get it fixed. I moved into the ford scene for a bit but kept lookin at mk3 golfs again. When I got the one im in now I was well happy to be back, it felt fast  after owning an escort gti. :lipsrsealed: Mk3 and proud. Hope DH doesnt see that.

Anyway, link isnt working for me, but if it says that it has a valid licence disc then yes, its still on the road.

I have a App on my ipone that gives you basic details of cars. If the car is no longer with us then it showes up as nothing but when i put you reg in (assuming its the one in your sig) It cam up with details. So i would say its still alive :)
TRANSFORM, & ROLL OUT!
