Well someone from leoncupra.net contacted me and asked if i would polish up his inlet manifold for him.

here's the final result, alot of hard work gone into it.

Looks good bud....reminds me of when i did my 1200 bandit swing arm and forks....i know how much a filthy job it is.....did you charge him a couple of bob for it :wink: :wink: :grin: :grin:

oh yes, dont do it foc.

hands arent that sore Wez as i use a polishing kit. but still get cover in polish n metal coming off the wheel at 3000rpm

That looks good, Keep toying with the idea of doing mine but I just dont have the patience  :grin:

if i was to do it from start to finish i would say a good 72hours, maybe more. But i like to take my time with them, cos if you rush then you end up slipping with the powerdrill and putting deep scratches in the metal which you have to flat out again. (I know from previous experience.)

In full i Beed blast the whole manifold to get it all clean, then flat the surface down with 120grit, then 320 grit, removing and smoothing off the welds, then polish it in 3 stages.

I am more then happy to do them for people at a cost, as its very time consuming and very messy.

He sent me the manifold and im charging him £50 and that includes 1st class recorded delivery back to him.
