As far as i know Insurance is not needed by law in Australia - Correct me is i'm wrong

I thought that was NZ? Australia is the expensive one of the two? A member on here is from NZ and I think that's what he said.

What type of insurance are you guys talking about? Like, the comprehensive etc?

Is it just easier to buy a VR6 or GTI instead of converting mine?
