Bora vents

Hi ive just purchased some bora vents to update my golf did they make illuminating ones aswell as normal or do u have to do these yourself?

They did but I think they become non-illuminating around 2003

Not sure if they still do the illuminated vents  :undecided:  I know I bought a new drivers vent prior to selling my car and I had to swap the LED over as it was non-illuminating  :sad:

I assume you know you have to make a wiring loom up to get them to work in your Golf  :smiley:

well my vents came off ebay in the add they were listed as non illuminating so took front cover off to find led's  :grin: so i do have illuminating vents just need to make the loom tomorrow only thing is the wires have been cut on the vents but i can still access them so will i need to make loom for both coming off vents and to connect to vents if u know what i mean?

big thanks to rhyso and wasser for info about fitting these  :smiley: made the loom myself cost me £8 and took 30 mins to fit well impressed

Very nice mate! I've Been meaning to get these and do the loom but I'm dick of spending money that'll never come back!  :laugh:    Awesome job!
