Temp sender unit.... If its a GSF one they only seem to last a year or so - I put OEM's back on mine to sort out a similar issue!!

if after changing the temp sender on the header tank, check the wiring to it but it could be the clocks, mine did this and only changing the dash clocks sorted it

sorry mate try bridging the wires on the level sensor on the tank, if light goes out change level sensor, sensor on block should have red/yellow wire to it but if your temp needle on clocks is working ok the sensor on block should be fine

Definately a good idea to check all of the connections, although not the same i had the oil pressure light buzzing away on mine thinking blocked pickup/faulty oil pump, turned out to be a loose connection

i have had black sensors fail but still leave gauge reading right, but triggering the light on the dash. very odd issue I chased it around all day before finally swappign the sensor after runnign out of things to try. hey presto solved! i still cant figure out why it worked but hey ho.

as above though, bridge the pins on the level sensor plug first, its on the top of the header tank.
