Cat C Polo?
« on: 05 November 2010, 22:11 »
Me again, You know i only roll around here when i want something these days (or have put my self in hospital, or bought an Audi or something retarded like that).

Anyway, Good news, I have a girlfriend (shocking) and she has a Drivers licence (which means shes older then 10, also shocking! ) anyway, looking to get her on the Dub side and found this in her price range:

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/uvl/popup.jsp?currentaction=searchresults&e2w=281244&sort=5&did=135475&partner=TMG&postcode=hp136dd&max_records=200&configfile=http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/dealers/135475/135475_config.xml&dropdowntype=uvl&e2w=281244&miles=1&csslocation=http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/dealers/135475/135475&id=201044371949186&distance=0

Only downside is that it is a CatC write off, Can anyone shed any light? Good or bad experences? Should we stear well clear or has anybody managed to pick up any Real Gems by going for Cat C's and D's?

Also, Suggestions welcome, Its a Polo or a Micra.....So help me out so i dont have to sit b!tch in Jap Crap!

hello mate.... A guy at work puts Cat Cs on the road all the time... My other half car is a Cat C... She made it that way

Cat C 9 times out of 10 is usuually cosmetic damage that in the insurers eyes is not worth fixing, just find out what its had done.

Aright mate haven't seen you for awhile!
Do you know why it was a CAT C there is no damage on pictures so what was repaired?
Plus clear it with insurance companies, they see them as a high risk if repairs were shi*t
Jay

Mate your POSTCODE is still up on that link on the right you might want to log out then post it up

Thanks dude, Changed the link.

So general feeling is to go for it but give the tires a good kick first? Thinking about it, My old Golf should have been a Cat C the amount of times i had to put it back together
