I've just fitted a set with AKTIV But I think it also has VW on them...

99p start is a good price! talking about ebay muppets bidding things up to millions of pounds without even bothering to check the dealer price. chrome sunroof lifters are also prime example, always go 'ebay rare' mega money when the new ones you buy from vw are exactly the same.

if they want to give you billions of dollars for the grilles, all the better for you :)

well im guessing its the fact im in the states but i was having a really hard time finding them..
i did come across like 4 though just now looking on ebay. but you say theyre available from the dealer? how can i get them. is there like an official site or something because the site i know of for volkswagen doesnt sell anything. or maybe they do but make it bloody confusing to do so...

put a screw through them? or glue something similar to the screw used to hold them in place on each corner to place the speaker brackets through? just some ideas.

If you look at the pics in X4MGS's ebay link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270659256752&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en you'll see four lugs with self tapping nut type things on them. The same things that hold the rear speakers to the shelf supports.

You can still get the nut type things from the dealer for a few pence each.

unfortunately not available from VW now as i tried the other week. They have only recently become unavailable from VW tho but aint rare by any means- at least not yet
