could any one please tell me what the material is called under the carpet. and where i can get some from i know it is underlay but typing that in goggle does not realy help much.and i also have tryed soundproofing but not good

Go to a scappy there are loads of Mk3's even Mk4's ripp them out and any other underlay for that matter then cut it to shape. A newer car's underlay has to be better than a 20yr old mouldy one non?
