BBS, Pirelli MK1 or Mk2?
« on: 05 February 2005, 19:33 »
Thats assuming Mk1 Pirellis fit the mk2s??? I'm trying to choose between them!
 Cheers Dave
The list of problems gets longer and longer! Suspension, gear linkage, clutch, random revving at idle, brake hoses, rusty boot, dodgy wheels, and nasty paint on bonnet. I love a challenge!!

mk1 and mk2 pirellis are the same except for the width at the top of the P. i think the mk1 was 10mm and the mk2 version was 8mm.

I new about the width between the P's but not if they would fit both! Which is good news! Im trying to get hold of some bbs's but they seem to be more expensive than the pirellis.. Might try and break the budget for some gold bbs's tho  :undecided:

if i wasn't being so anal about keeping my valver close to standard, i'd opt for Estorils.

they were definitely the meanest looking rims on a 16v and people keep taking them off!

I'll have a look for some of them but im trying to keep mine as original as possible. Its got some awful BK racing wheels on at the moment that are too big anyway! If i like them enough tho i might sway!

Stick to the BBS, it's worth waiting and keeping your money in your pockets till then
