Hi I have a Golf GTI 1.8T 1999 and it has air con but with dials, if i manage to "aquire" a climate cotrol box will it be able to go in my car and replace the dials.

No. there's more to it than just the fascia - you'll need to replace the entire heater assembly, add additional wiring and sensors behind the dashboard. If an Ebay advert tells you that you can convert it using just the fascia it's a LIE.

There are hundreds of Golfs for sale already with Climate Control fitted so it would not make any financial sense to do this conversion.

I can't recall anyone ever doing it. It's a massive amount of work (isn't cheap either) for very little gain.

ive got dials, nothing wrong with having them, air-cons cold in the summer, the heaters hot in  the winter, thats all i care about lol  :wink:
