16v metering head help

Hi iv recently put a 18v metering head on my 8v kjet and when I tried to the car I get a sqeeling noise from the fuel pipe to the engine from the metering head and it doesnt fire up but when i put the 8v metering head back on it worked but now the 8v is back on the engine seems no have a miss fire not a major one but never the less, any ideas....

I believe a 16v metering head will not work on a 8v

oh darn the guy I brought the golf off said it will work great increasing fuel delivery, never mind thanks for your help.

if anybody needs/ wants the 16v metering heads its yours excluding postage.

16v metering head and wur is an upgrade, but only if you have done some modification to the engine. wont really see any benefit to a std car.

what have you checked on the car already?
